Richard has a first class degree in Music Technology, and many years of experience in studio recording. He has worked with a huge variety of artists, in a wide range of styles, and is dedicated to realising the full potential of every recording.
He has all the skills, understanding and diligence required of a professional studio engineer, but what sets him apart in this role at Orpheus Studio is that he is also a very talented musician with a wealth of session experience. He plays many instruments to a high standard (you can see him at work on the videos page), and he will happily lend his skills to your recordings. Richard also has a thorough grasp of musical theory thanks to his years studying classical music, and can offer as much or as little input in composition/arrangement as you desire.
Richard is always happy to discuss your project requirements and ideas, so feel free to get in touch by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or phone (07545 024227) to start planning your recording with Orpheus Studio.

Our speciality is recording of ensemble performance, with rock and alternative band styles benefiting from our extensive experience in this area. Our comfortable, relaxed performance setting shines through in our recordings, with a musicality and feel that cannot be replicated in less-dedicated setups.
